What a brow shape that suits you looks like
Brows change a face more than anything else. They lift or lower the gaze, open or close the eyes, make you look rested or tired. And unlike makeup, mistakes on brows do not wash off in the evening. That is why I treat them with more care than any other part of the face.
I work with tweezers only
I shape with tweezers only, for a precise, controlled result that is gentle on the skin. I do not use wax or thread, because both take more than they should and leave less room to think between hairs.
Hair by hair means I can stop at any moment, look at your whole face and decide whether anything more is needed. Most of the time it is not.
I do not chase a trending shape
I adapt the shape to your features and to what you want, with the aim of visually opening and lifting the gaze while keeping the natural lines of your face. I do not have a standard shape that I apply to everyone, and I do not over-pluck just to get a perfectly cleaned brow.
I mainly remove the hairs that can visually pull the direction of the brow downwards and that, over time, stop flattering the face. The rest stay where they are.
Why I keep the hairs
Every hair matters, and I carefully preserve the areas where density is needed. To me, a beautiful brow is not only a pleasing result today, it is also keeping the hairs for the years to come.
Brow trends change, but hairs that are lost grow back far more slowly.
I have seen plenty of brows thinned out in the 2000s that never grew back. I do not want to do the same to yours, however much someone might ask for a particular shape today.
When I add tinting
Alongside shaping, tinting with classic tint accentuates the existing hairs and the natural shape of the brows. I choose the shade according to your features, so the result is, most of the time, natural, delicate and harmonious.
Tinting can also be used to soften white hairs, without loading the brow or creating too strong an effect. The purpose stays the same: brows that frame the eyes beautifully, brighten and visually lift the gaze.
How long it takes and what it costs
Shaping takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the state of the brows, and costs 70 RON. Shaping together with tinting costs 100 RON and takes about the same.
If you are coming before an event or a shoot, I recommend not leaving the shaping for the same day. Skin needs a few hours to settle, and a day later everything already looks set.
