How long it takes
The makeup takes around 60 minutes, depending on the look. For wedding days we set the time in advance, so it fits with your hair schedule and the rest of your preparations.
It all starts with the skin
Mature skin needs hydration before any coloured product. Skin that is hydrated and prepared reflects light beautifully and does not let foundation gather in fine lines. That is why I spend time preparing the skin before I start the makeup itself.
Light, not a thick layer
On mature skin, more product means less result. I build coverage only where it is needed and let the rest of the face breathe, so the skin looks like skin, not like a surface.
How I avoid the mask effect
The mask effect comes from three things: the wrong shade, a texture that is too dry, and too much product in the same area. I test the shade in natural light, choose textures that stay flexible, and blend the edges, especially on the neck and around the eyes.
Brows and lips that lift the face
On mature skin, the brow and the lip line do more than anything else for the eyes. A brow with the right direction opens the eye, and a well-placed lip line stops colour migrating into the fine lines around the mouth.
Makeup for the godmother
The godmother is in the photographs almost as much as the bride and is on her feet just as many hours. I do godmother makeup with the same logic: elegant, long-wearing, matched to the outfit and to the rest of the wedding party, without competing with the bride.
Staying power for a long event
A wedding means ten to fifteen hours. I set in layers and choose products that do not gather over time, so that late in the evening the makeup still looks cared for.
What products I use
I work with professional products bought by me. I am not a brand ambassador and I have no paid collaborations, so I choose strictly what holds up on skin and what looks good in photographs.
My kit includes YSL, Hourglass, Lancôme, Charlotte Tilbury, Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, Make Up For Ever, MAC, Nars, Huda Beauty, Makeup by Mario, Rare Beauty and Fenty. I combine from several of them, depending on the skin type and on how long the event lasts.
Hours and travel
I work between 5:00 and 23:00, so I can take an appointment very early in the morning or one right before the event. I travel in Bacău and the surrounding area, Onești, Moinești, Comănești, Buhuși, plus Roman, Piatra Neamț and Adjud. The travel fee is agreed when booking, depending on the distance.

I have been doing makeup since 2010. I was invited as Head Makeup Artist at Miss England, at London Fashion Week and at private themed parties. I worked with the jewellery brand OPAL, on collection shoots.
